Anthelios Melt-In Sunscreen Milk SPF 60 Product Reviews

Rated 5 out of 5 by from BEST EVER! My son has horrible allergies! He's allergic to aloe and tea leaf plant..He has very fair sensitive skin. most all lotions, sunscreens, soaps etc. have these ingredients.. I found out the hard way that he was allergic to these.. He got a basic sunburn so of course I had aloe plant, aloe lotion, e.t.c. Long story short his sunburn turned into 2nd degree burn!!! I was horrified!! So any sunscreens with aloe in them acted as an accelerator!! This sunscreen is THE ONLY one that doesn't cause him to burn! We were actually able to go to the beach (his FAVORITE PLACE) and stay all day and only reapplied twice! He didn't burn and he didn't even look like he had been in the sun!! So a HUGE THANKS to the makers of this!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best sunscreen for face Purchased this sunscreen because of outstanding review on Consumer Reports. I use it on my face and there is no irritation to my eyes at all. It is not greasy in my opinion. I also have sensitive skin and there has never been any irritation in that regard as well. This sunscreen goes on so smoothly - I have even 'worn' it as a moisturizer and no bother to my skin. I wear a light cc cream on occasion and it goes on smoothly - powder blush also not a problem. While it is expensive, LaRoche-Posay has enough promo deals where I can stock up on buying 3-4 at a time. One tube lasts a long time and I wear it everyday applying it a couple of times of day. Best sunscreen ever.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Way to greasy I used this before I found the water cooling one and this one makes my skin feel gross and it gets all over everything because it does not absorb into my skin. It works to protect my skin from the sun but at an expense I do not want to pay. I agree with others that it is wrong to advertise that it is a non greasy or non oily sunscreen, as it is completely greasy/oily. I would recommend the water cooling one over this one any day.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Great sunscreen, but stains your clothes! The sunscreen works well. But not worth ruining clothes. I have yellowish stains on a new white bathing suit, and a nice blue polo shirt of my husbands!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best sunscreen for protection I need serious protection from UVA and UVB rays. This is the sunscreen my dermatologist insists on. It is creamy when you first apply and rubbing it in helps it absorb into your skin increasing the effectiveness of the sunscreen. It should be applied at least 15 minutes before going outside. By then the creamy feeling is much less and actually keeps my skin from drying out. This is the only sunscreen I use. Make sure to reapply if you sweat too much or get wet. Suncscreen clothing and hats help places the sunscreen doesn't reach.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for people who are exposed constantly to the sun I have always been very athletic and since a young age I have been exposed to the sun for long periods of time. The sunblocks I used did not seem to been protecting me enough and as such I started having skin problems. My dermatologist recommended Anthelios 60 and ever since then I stopped having skin issues due to the sun. I used this product for my face everyday and when I am outdoors either doing sports or at beach I use it all over my body. Anthelios 60 absorbs fast but most importantly it protects your skin.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Use for body I use the Anthelios 60 ultra light fluid for the face. The Anthelios 60 melt-in sunscreen milk is not as light, but it is cheaper. I use it for the body. It's a little greasy, but not too much. I rely on La Roche-Posay's allegations as to UVA blockage. Have not really looked into the issue.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great option for dry skin Thanks to a friend who introduced me to their products, I've used La Roche Posay products for close to 15 years. Even when I experiment and 'try' another product, I always come back to this sunscreen. I like to switch between using this in the dry winter on my face as it is moisturizing and the Fluid Tint on hotter summer days. If I stay out in the sun for longer periods of time, I prefer to use this as I feel the creaminess allows for greater coverage. nnSince using their products, I have never gotten sunburned. Another plus is that as the years pass, people are often surprised to find out how old I am - which I credit to consistent sun care protection. Like I mentioned earlier, I constantly change up the skincare regimen so La Roche-Poday's sunscreens are the only consistent items that I've continued to use over the years.
