Anthelios Kids sunscreen for face & body has a lightweight, comfortable texture specifically developed to be gentle on children’s sensitive skin. This SPF 50 sunscreen for kids is water resistant (80 minutes). It blends easily on all skin tones without leaving a white cast on skin and sand brushes easily from skin after application. Oxybenzone-free sunscreen for kids is formulated with Cell-Ox Shield® Technology: advanced broad spectrum UVA/UVB protection plus antioxidants.

KEY INGREDIENTS

Cell-Ox Shield® Technology: A key antioxidant technology in the Anthelios sun care range. It combines photostable UVA/UVB filters to deliver broad spectrum protection and powerful antioxidant protection. With Senna Alata, a tropical leaf extract known to defend skin cells in the upper layer of skin against damaging free radicals caused by the sun.
Glycerin: Derived from vegetable sources, it's an excellent humectant. It helps hydrate skin by absorbing water from the surrounding environment.
Vitamin B5: Panthenol (provitamin B5) is a key ingredient used in some La Roche-Posay formulas to help the skin feel soothed and moisturized.
Niacinamide: A form of vitamin B3, niacinamide is a water soluble vitamin. It is widely used in dermatology for its soothing properties and helping restore skin's moisture barrier.
Vitamin E: Tocopherol is a synthetic, more stable form of vitamin E. It has antioxidant properties to help neutralize damaging free radicals.
La Roche-Posay Thermal Spring Water: A soothing water sourced in the town of La Roche-Posay in France and a core ingredient in most of our products. It contains a unique combination of minerals, trace elements, and a high concentration of selenium, a natural antioxidant.

Step 1: Apply generously 15 minutes before sun exposure.
Step 2: Reapply: After 80 minutes of swimming or sweating, immediately after towel drying, at least every 2 hours.

Causes tremendous eye sting, smells like motor oil when first applied and comes right off in water even when applied 30 min before. My daughter was still getting sun burned/extremely tanned even after putting a generous layer of this on her face and body and waiting at least 30 min before jumping in the pool, and she only spent 45 min in pool for her swimming class.

We were so happy to find it available in the U.S. I absolutely love this sunscreen for my child! Runs on clear & doesn’t leave a white residue. It’s also reef-safe which is an added bonus for ocean swims. We’ve tried all the brands of kids sunscreens (including pricier ones) and this is my child’s preferred one & doesn’t protest when I put it on him.

This is the only sunblock that doesn’t cause a rash and does a great job preventing sun damage. We are grateful to La Roche for making such a great product.
