    KEY INGREDIENTS:

    Adapalene Gel 0.1% (Topical Retinoid): A topical retinoid medication used in Effaclar Adapalene for the treatment of acne. A synthetic molecule that mimics vitamin A, it works by regulating skin cell turnover to help remove and prevent dead skin from clogging pores. An ideal choice for those concerned with whiteheads and blackheads.

    ACTIVE INGREDIENTS

    ADAPALENE USP 0.1% (RETINOID) (ACNE TREATMENT)

    INACTIVE INGREDIENTS

    CARBOMER HOMOPOLYMER • EDETATE DISODIUM • METHYLPARABEN • POLOXAMER 182 • PROPYLENE GYLCOL • PURIFIED WATER • SODIUM HYDROXIDE

    Step 1: To open the product, remove the cap and insert the opposite side of the cap into the foil. Push down on the cap and twist until the foil is punctured.

    Step 2: After using a gentle cleanser, apply a pea sized amount all over the face once daily in the evening.

    Step 3: Apply a moisturizer after use.

    Step 4: Use with SPF daily

I bought this when i was in crisis mode during one of the worst flare ups ive ever had, and it SAVED ME. i have tried every dermatologist prescribed cream and pill, and nothing has helped me like this. i also love that a little goes a LONG way!     Rated 5 out of 5 by from La Roche Posay, I love you At this point I own most of the La roche posay line and for good reason. This brand is trusted, delivers results and has a competitive price. If I only owned one product by the brand- it would be this. Since starting adapalene a month ago, I’ve already noticed an extreme change to the texture of my skin. (My skin has always been textured with small bumps and has sun damage). My skin feels so much smoother and my breakouts are smaller. I can’t wait to see the difference after a few more months. Holy grail!

    Rated 5 out of 5 by from BE PATIENT TO SEE RESULTS!! TOTALLY WORTH IT! The product might be harsh on your skin when you first start. I had redness, slight burning, and really really dry skin when I started. Trust the process and start slow since your skin is going to purge before it gets better. Have a consistent routine where you start with a few days a week and then build up. Use a heavy duty moisturizer and SUNSCREEN!!!!! You will definitely see results after a new weeks/months of consistent use depending on your skin’s condition! Don’t be afraid and just have patience :)

    Rated 5 out of 5 by from Patience, Trial & Error. I have been using the Adapalene + the duo cream for 8 weeks and I cannot say enough about it. I was hesitant because like many I have very very sensitive skin. What worked for me may not work for another but how I handled the transition to avoid dry irritated skin was an oil from Tuel "detox" - I would wash then apply about 3-5 drops of the oil ( the oil is for acne skin so it will not clog or congest your skin at all ) I let it sit for about 5mins then apply a little less than a pea size of the Adapalene gel. The duo cream I used during the day very small amount spread over my entire face, to help with drying as I said before the oil I used is from Tuel "Rehab". Yes two different oils are used one for day one for night. The duo cream dried out my active acne ( I am cystic acne prone. Big nasty pimples that were nickle size or better on my face) and the Adapalene gel handled the black heads and the turn over of the dead skin on my face. As of today I am cystic acne free for the most part and I'm currently just waiting on the hyperpigmentation to subside, skin is pretty clear. Thank you LRP team for these amazing products.

I did have a purging period when I started using this product, which is normal. I also experience some dryness/peeling which is not abnormal. Although I do not have acne prone skin, this retinol has cleared my blackheads and occasional white heads. My skin also looks brighter and more even
