Glycerin: Derived from vegetable sources, it's an excellent humectant. It helps hydrate skin by absorbing water from the surrounding environment. Panthenol: Also known as provitamin b5 is a key ingredient used in some La Roche-Posay formulas to help the skin feel soothed and moisturized. Madecassoside: Derived from the Centella Asiatica plant, madecassoside is known for its nourishing properties. Hyaluronic Acid: A powerful humectant that helps moisturize skin. How do I use Cicaplast Gel?
Cicaplast Gel should be used to help protect, soothe and relieve targeted areas with dry, chapped, cracked skin. It is tested post-procedure, post-stitches and post-laser. We recommend applying to the affected areas on the body or face daily as needed, wait until skin is dry before applying other products such as a moisturizer.
Should I use Cicaplast Gel as a moisturizer?
It is not intended to be an all over face moisturizer. We would recommend using Toleriane Double Repair Face Moisturizer for a face moisturizer that helps repair the skin barrier or Cicaplast Balm B5 for a thicker balm to relieve cracked, chapped, chafed skin and dry skin irritations.
The texture for this product is so smooth and doesn’t leave a greasy film afterwards. I used it to reduce healing time for minor burns from my hair straightener. Definitely worth the money!
