Perfect for my dry, fair, acne prone Retin-a skin
I was given a sample by my derm at the same time that she wrote my my first script for retin-a .025% cream for my sudden 32 year old isolated white heads acne. I am very fair, a little red in the face and prone to breakout from almost anything I out on my skin. I was even more concerned about sun exposure than usual bc the retin-a makes you more photo sensitive. So, with trepidation I used this one humid, warm May morning. AND I LOVE IT!! It does not cause any blemishes, feels light and silky on my skin, offers great sun protection and adds a little extra finish to my skin. Like I said, I am pretty pale and I find the satin finish compliments me very well on no makeup days. Also, in the warmer months, I use it in lieu of a moisturizer altogether. In the colder NorthEast winters, I find a do need a moisturizer UNDERNEATH it, especially since starting the retin-a. I highly recommend this for anyone that hates a greasy spf on their face. Also, buy from LRP directly, I have purchased some from other online retailers and find not all of the quality to be the same.

great for sensative skin around the eyes
I had started to have sensativity to brand name sunscreens, my eyes would water and itch. I have switched to Anthelios 50 for my face and have had no more problems. It lasts all day!

Great for pregnant mommas, too
I did a lot of research on sunscreens before deciding on this one--it's the first one I've used that hasn't made me breakout and I love that it doesn't have an odd fragrance or pill when I put makeup on. It's even gentle enough to use around the eyes. And the fact that it's safe to use while pregnant and nursing was a major selling point for me.
