I was reading up on sunscreens prior to vacation last year. I was surprised at what I found. In Europe there are more than 20 active ingredients not available in sunscreens per the FDA. One that is FDA approved is Mexorl SX. It covers UVA and UVB rays. There were very few of the mineral based sunscreens that didn't make me look like Caspar! I'm extremely fair with freckles and sunscreen is part of my daily routine. If I don't use it my melasma would be out of control. I also believe that I'd be seeing more pre-cancerous growths than I already have at 44. It goes on so easily that I don't feel like I have to be at the pool or beach to use it. I use it every day. And as my dermatolgoist loves to remind me, it's smart to order two and keep on in your handbag at all times.

Sunprotection - best antiaging
The best sunscreen I have ever used! With sensitive skin I have spent a fortune trying numerous different brands. Anthelios 40 with Mexoryl gives the best UV protection available. My dermatologist confirmed that.

I am a skin cancer survivor, on my face had 2 BCC & @ squamous...this is what my dermatoligist suggested to use, I have to say Ive ben using it all summer , along with a complete regimen of anthelios & la roche Posay products..my skin has never looked so good, & I can go out side .with a hat of course..

Excellent sunscreen
I have used this sunscreen all summer. It works great, goes on easy, leaves no white on skin. My dermatologist was impressed and thougt I had made an excellent choice.

Works great when applied to damp skin
When I first tried this product I used too much and it made my face too white. The next time I used it I applied it to my face immediately after washing it. I warmed it up in my hands for a few moments and applied just enought to cover my face. That did the trick. It absorbed well and gave a matte finish. It can be worn alone or works well with powder foundation. I am happy with it. Althought the size is small and it is a little expensive-I think it is worth it for the protection and matte finish. It has not caused me any breakouts on my face which is always good.
