Skin Cancer and Sun protection in Skin of Color


Recent epidemiologic data regarding the alarming figures of skin cancer in dark skin populations and the lack of awareness of photoprotection in this part of the US population resulted in L’Oreal R&I (US and International) highlighted L’Oreal’s Life Sciences work regarding the UV induced DNA damages in darker skin and the research on photobiology in all color skin types.
